www.euronews.com Silent House, remade from the 2010 Uruguayan original La Casa Muda, is a haunted house movie made to look like it was filmed all in one long continuous shot. The plot is pretty standard horror movie fare: beautiful heroine can’t escape from house holding horrible secrets of past misdeeds… and the stars are Elizabeth Olsen (also currently on screens in Martha Marcy May Marlene), Adam Trese and Eric Sheffer Stevens. It is directed by Chris Kentis and Laura Lau. The plot may be hackneyed but the effect of sticking resolutely with the main protagonist is spine-tingling. Watch out for more fright-fest flicks made the same way.
